At thoughtLEADERS,
we have found there are three primary types of instructors:
- Academicians:
these instructors know and understand theory extremely
well but can often come up short when trying to translate
those theories to real-world practical situations.
- Career trainers:
these instructors have outstanding facilitation and
platform skills but typically lack real-world experience
and application of the methods they teach.
- Practitioners:
these instructors know and understand the theory, have
solid platform skills and (most importantly) can translate
the theory and methodology into how it works in real
career situations.

At
thoughtLEADERS, we believe:
- The
best way to learn is by doing and the best people
to learn from are people who have successfully applied
the concepts they teach.
- People
are intelligent – teach them like they’re
adults, not school children.
- Learning
should be practical, applicable and fun. Keep the
training interesting and relevant and students
will learn faster and retain more information.
